Introduction

Welcome to the official website for Bristol-based UK Racing Driver, Antony Weeks.

Having had a passion for cars since a very young age Antony first became aware of Motorsport at 7 years of age, like many children at that time, taken in on weekends by the Formula One coverage on the BBC. Antony soon discovered other forms of Motorsport, most notably, European Truck Racing but never thought about becoming one of those idonic figures of his youth.

Antony always had great respect and admiration for a number of talented drivers through the years including the formidable Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill and more recently, has watched Lewis Hamilton rise through the ranks at a phenomenal pace. However, it wasn't until 2005 at the grand age of 24 that Antony first stepped onto a race circuit himself, and that was a local indoor karting circuit in Bristol.

"I was a late starter to UK motorsport and had never even sat in a kart until my Stag party in  2005 - at least 10 years later than the majority of the UK's talented up-and-coming race drivers!" And despite meeting Hunter Abbott in a shopping centre in Swindon 3 years previously and racing Nitro-powered RC cars in the HPI Challenge in 2004 and 2005, Antony hadn't even thought about taking the step from armchair enthusiast to competitor. Having become a Member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists in 2005, Antony began taking his karting a step further entering into Public Grand Prix, individual and team endurance events and then in 2008, a 4 round Championship at the infamous Castle Combe circuit.

Antony is rarely off the podium having won his debut races at the Raceway, various individual grand prix and finishing 3rd in his first ever 2 hour endurance race in 2007. He finished 5th in the 2008 Championship and is currently leading the 2009 Championship after the first round whilst preparing for a full season in the British Formula Ford Championship in 2010!
